Our Story

About Marked and Sent.

Marked and Sent began not with a business plan, but with a conviction. Two men from the same church, sharing the same biblical faith, asked a simple question: what does it look like for believers to carry the truth of Jesus Christ into everyday life, not just on Sunday, but every day after?

The answer became apparel rooted in Scripture and designed to create opportunities for curiosity, conversation, and Gospel engagement.

The Name Behind the Concept

Ephesians 1:13.
John 20:21.

The name Marked and Sent is rooted in two verses that define what it means to be a believer.

Ephesians 1:13 speaks of those sealed by the Holy Spirit upon believing the gospel of their salvation. They are marked. Identified. Set apart as Christ’s own.

John 20:21 records the words of Jesus after His resurrection: “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” Those who are marked are not meant to remain still. They are sent.

The person wearing our apparel is not an advertisement. They are a carrier. Marked by Christ, sent into the world as a witness to His truth.

Ephesians 1:13  ·  The Marked

“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.”

John 20:21  ·  The Sent

“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”

The Logo

A brushstroke circle.
A cross that pierces.

The Marked and Sent logo is a brushstroke circle with a cross at its center. The circle is intentionally imperfect. Slightly uneven, made by a hand rather than a compass. That imperfection is the point. It reflects imperfect people.

The cross does not stay inside the circle. It rises through it and pierces the word “Marked” below. A visual reminder that believers are not marked by their own effort or identity, but by Christ. That contrast between the rough brushstroke and the refined type is deliberate. Humanity, held together by something greater than itself.

Below the wordmark are three words: Wear. Walk. Witness. Not a slogan, but a progression. What is worn becomes visible. What becomes visible creates opportunities for witness. Every garment is designed with that movement in mind.

Why the Church

Not where the mission ends. Where it begins.

The local church is where believers are formed, equipped, and sent. Mission Outposts exist inside partner churches because the local church is God’s primary means of forming, equipping, and sending believers.

The church is our distribution channel.
The believer is our carrier.
The world is our audience.
